Kevin McGovern
Kevin McGovern is one of the Branch Manager’s for Fairway Independent Mortgage in Wauconda, IL. Fairway is one of the largest independent mortgage bankers in the U.S. Kevin has spent the last 16 years of his career in the mortgage industry.
Kevin joined Majestic Mortgage in 1993 and quickly established himself as one of the countries top Mortgage Advisors. He became the President of Majestic in 2000 and led a major expansion of that company and eventually the company was merged with Cherry Creek Mortgage in 2006.
In 2006 Kevin pursued his other passion of coaching others in life and business and became a coach with Building Champions. He now coaches others and works along with his Fairway teammates in the mortgage business here in Chicagoland. Kevin’s goal is to give all of his mortgage clients an experience that will provide them with honest and realistic advice.
Kevin lives in Vernon Hills with his wife Debbie and 2 teenagers. Their eldest son is married and has a beautiful daughter. When not working Kevin and Debbie are actively involved at The Chapel in Libertyville. They also enjoy playing golf, travel and just hanging out with family and friends.
Matt Brua
Matt has been originating mortgages for 13 years. Since early in his career he has enjoyed working with First Time Home buyers to create and put in place a solid mortgage plan. His consultative approach to the business helps his clients make educated financial decisions. His proactive approach to working with people handles questions up front to ensure a smooth and surprise free mortgage transaction.
Matt lives in Grayslake with his wife Shauna and 3 children, Kylie, Ty and Baris. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors, traveling and hanging out with his kids and Shauna.
Don Elbert
Don has been in the mortgage industry for over 16 years and has originated over 500 million dollars in mortgage loans. He commonly tells people “I can honestly say that I’m just as excited today to do a loan as I was my first loan back in 1993″. Besides his family, Don’s mortgage business is his number one passion. In Don’s words “It’s what I love to do everyday”.
Don believes in taking a consultative approach to help his clients design the ultimate mortgage that will allow them to reach equity building goals and achieve other financial goals. Don takes great pride that every loan transaction goes smoothly and which is done through what he calls the “Elbert Secret“.
Don lives in Cary with his wife Tracy and his 6 children, Nicholas, Francesca, Emily, Connor. Ryan, and Brady. In his free time, Don enjoys time with his family, running, and watching sports.
